Kathleen Russell is an executive producer, director, producer, editor and illustrator based in Portland, Oregon. She grew up in McMinnville, Oregon, studied film at Vassar College, and lived in New York City for nearly a decade before returning west. While in New York, she worked for Radical Media, Ark Media, IMG, Current TV, Big Think and others.
Back west, she spent over 5 years at Wieden+Kennedy Portland, where she post produced two Emmy award winning Nike ads, and went on to serve as Executive Producer, then Head of Operations at JOINT Editorial, W+K's post-production house.
Her work has been recognized by the Television Academy, Cannes Lions, D&AD Awards, Clios, Andys, Webbys, AICP, Art Director's Club, and the Tribeca Film Festival.
